Good LUCK to Dear 'Zeena'...!

Hey pretty girl!

How are you? Hmm…and how was the movie-'kingdom of heaven'?.
Sir Tony has been giving a positive review about the film so I think I should watch it before the ielts exam. Maybe it might affect me in some good way.

So, what are you up to? I heard your exams are coming up? Well sweets, try hard and give it your best shot, so that you do not have any regrets later on .I know it is difficult practicing and perfecting yourself ,but it’s definitely not worse than the feeling you get after the exam-I wish I had worked harder!.

I guess that’s all I have to say now. My sister is calling and we need to have a small pep-talk before I tuck her to bed-her exams are also starting –a week later.

    I shall pass on your kind words to Zeena.

    She 'enjoyed' the film and it raised serious issues that are still reverberating almost 900 years later in the "kingdom of heaven" as we now know. A film that is definitely worth seeing.

    We have tried to play down these SAT exams for Zeena, hence the cinema break yesterday, but my little princess puts herself under so much presure that she 'blanks out' and does not do herself justice. Hmmmmmm, maybe there are cetain parallels there with IELTs nerves affecting performance.

    All the best too, Mubs, for your little sister's trials next week - what her name, if you don't mind telling me?

  • My sister was named Maria-after one of the Prophet's wives.She is 11, but prefers to play the role of being my elder sister.I like her name because it is short,common and sticks to your brain-unlike mine(lets not go there).

    Well, it is good to know some students nowadays do actually "care" about their exams.
    It is somewhat the opposite with my sister-iam the more worried one.Due to this attiude of hers,i had taken a decision to prolong my exam.
    Perhaps Maria does work hard,but maybe iam the more demanding type BIg sister.
    She has to give speech today infront of her class as her speaking exam.The topic she chose was fashion.Beleive me, the ielts writing tips guided her more than it helped me.Vocabulary,examples and a good finish-she's got it all.

    almost 10:15am.
    Time for an task 1 and 2 writing.
    Yasmeen is kind enough by volunteering to help me by checking my work.

    will keep logging on to see if any new postings are done.

    This is Zeena here! I just want to say thank you so much for the kind words you wrote to me! Have you already done your IELTs? If so then well done for going through that awfully stressful time and if not then I wish all the very best of luck in the world! :) I enjoyed the movie "kingdom of heaven" a lot! I thought that it was very fair and balanced with the Sarasons and the Crusaders.It was quite gory, but hey, thats war! And now Mubs I've g2g and do my stuff, so speak to you later ok? Thank you again so much for those charming words!

    The pleasures mine,dear Zeena.

    Ielts exam? no-iam still working at it.I think my exam will be on 9th June-have to register for that and i will post on the weblog too before appearing for it.

    All this talk of 'kingdom of heaven' is really propelling me to go and watch it.
