Thara did the IELTS Academic version on 9 / 11 June. Here is her report:

Finally exams over!

Finally the much awaited day is over. The exam was much better than what i thought it to be.
Listening was very clear..but in between i missed 1 answer.........i guess like sir said i thought that the answer was over.so went onto next question.........anywayz other than that rest was good. Moving on ...
Reading was ok ok........like we had choosing the suitable headings for paragraphs which was kinda driving me crazy....;) but anywayz it was fine.........i had a good timing finished everything 10 mins before the end.
Writing was not bad....... basically i really didn't understand task 1...........it was about some percentage of household spend on leisure...........whatever. i wrote something........i dont know if what i wrote really made sense.;) lol.............Task 2 was good.......i was able to write well.............but i fear if my word limit exceeded a bit or not............so
Well that's it.................i guess it was not bad..................and hope to get expected band.all i have to tell to my friends is to take it easy..........it's going to be much better than what u expect it to be:)

PS Please write in if you want any more specific details from Thara - how did the Speaking go for instance? How did she manage to do the Reading in 50 minutes? What went wrong in Task 1 - had she read Aisha's model answer properly?
