Oh hello everyone!
I was thinking regarding the pattern of the questions in the writing exam.(ACADEMIC)
Will we be getting both the task 1 and 2 in the same question paper?(DUH..i know)
If so, is it possible to do the task 2 FIRST and than answer the task 1?

Yes they are together.
In a way, you have a good point.
Why not spend the first 40 minutes on a GOOD task 2 essay? Then you ONLY have 20 minutes to bash out the descriptive task 1 report.
It makes sense to me, as in this way you don't spend TOO LONG on task 1.
What do others think?

Yep, that is exactly what i meant,Sir.
Task 2 requires more thinking and organising of ideas than task 1.
As i used to do in college exam's-solve the difficult questions first and than the easier ones.
Task 2 is simply observing the graph/s and explaining it.
